Our Mission: Turning Corporate Accountability into Everyday Income

Every year, billions of dollars in class action settlements go unclaimed. This money doesn’t belong to the courts, and it certainly doesn't belong back in the pockets of the corporations that broke the law. It belongs to you.

But the "settlement industry" has a trust problem. On one side, you have confusing legal notices that look like junk mail. On the other, you have a new wave of "scammy" apps that charge monthly subscription fees or take a massive 40% cut of your payout just for filling out a form.

We think that’s wrong. You shouldn’t have to pay a "tax" to claim money that is legally yours.

Why ClaimChowder is Different

We built ClaimChowder to be the tool we wanted for our own families. We are the only platform in this space built on two "Unbreakable Rules":

  1. Free Forever: We will never charge you a subscription. We will never take a cut of your check. 100% of your settlement stays with you.
  2. Radical Transparency: We don't guess. We use advanced technology to verify official, court-approved sources so you can file with confidence, knowing you’re looking at legitimate claims.

Our Story: Law Meets Logic

ClaimChowder started in Somerville, MA, where our founders lived as neighbors while attending law school and grad school. We are a group of friends—an ex-BigLaw attorney, an ex-BigTech software engineer, a Director for a non-profit—who realized that the legal system was too complex for humans and the technology was too disconnected from the law.

By combining our backgrounds from Harvard, MIT, and Carnegie Mellon, we built a "discovery engine" that does the heavy lifting for you. We traded corporate careers to build a privacy-first platform that levels the playing column for the everyday consumer.

Accountability, Simplified

We aren't a middleman looking for a payday. We are consumer advocates providing the technology you need to hold big companies accountable. No "pro" tiers, no hidden fees, and no gatekeeping. Just the facts, the forms, and the funds you’re owed.
